Hello.

Can I use USB or UART port for F/W download?

In initial f/w download, we will use JTAG. But In re-download, we can't use JTAG because of mechanical structure(housing blocks jtag port permanently).

We are trying to modify the MAC header of packets.

Especially we need to set the power management bit to 0 when the power save mode is enabled.

Is there anyway to achieve this?

This may be a dumb question but I couldn't find the answer in the documentation. I am using WICED Studio & I have 2 CYW920719Q40EVB-01 boards that are connected via separate USB cords to the same computer that I would like to download & run different programs on using the WICED Studio IDE.

My question is: Is there a way to configure Make Targets in WICED Studio such that different USB/Serial ports are specified as part of the target instructions? My goal is to be able to develop different applications in WICED that I can quickly program to either board without having to plug & unplug wires (if possible). Thank you in advance!

Built and flashed WiCED demo "BLE WiFi Introducer" App, built the peer-app for iOS as well. During first attempt, the board was immediately able to connect to my iPhone's Home WiFi. I wanted to test it for reliability and flashed the FW again on board. On consequent attempt, the iPhone still connects to the board, however right after stopping the advertising the Connection goes down with reason "HCI_ERR_CONN_CAUSE_LOCAL_HOST"

I am using the sample app serial_gatt_db and its peer app on Android. In the application, the device is connected to the phone but not paired. I think this does not ensure a secure transfer of data (please correct me if I am wrong). How can I enable LE security / encryption when using this app so that the data transferred(in this case 'serial' data). Is there any reference that I can take a look at?
