There is currently a preprocessor symbol defined for the WICED version that is inserted by Make using -DWICED_VERSION=\"3.5.1\".
This is really unfortunate because the C preprocessor does not permit strings to be used in conditionals. You cannot say:
#if WICED_VERSION == "3.5.1"
because that is not legal in the C preprocessor, and will not work.
What is the point of having a version macro if you can't use it to create conditional sections which are version sensitive?
Can I suggest, in future releases, that variables such as this be defined:
#define WICED_VERSION_MAJOR 3
#define WICED_VERSION_MINOR 5
or alternatively come up with an integral representation
#define WICED_VERSION_NUMERIC 030501
That would really simplify life for those of us who have to support multiple releases.
Show LessI am trying to compile a bunch of libraries together and some of the libraries use /usr/include libraries : for eg. #include <sys/socket.h>
I am not able to use these libraries because they need the complete file path i.e. /usr/include/sys/socket.h. Thus, the Makefile cannot find the sys/socket.h file. Unfortunately I cannot modify each and every file. Is there a method to define it in the WICED SDK Makefile?

Show LessHi ,
Using WICED SDK-3.1.2 is there a way to list all devices connected to SPI, I2C bus?
I see platform functions to init, deinit, probe, transmit message, receive message to devices connected to SPI, I2C bus.
Thanks,

Show LessThe document:
make demo.temp_control-BCM943362WCD4 factory_reset_dct Apps\demo\temp_control\mfg\0001.txt
But it does not work,
make: *** No rule to make target 'wiced_factory_reset.mk', needed by 'factory_re

There is not have 'wiced_factory_reset.mk' file.

Are there any plans to support st-link interface in the future versions of WICED SDK? I would like to run WICED software on stm32f4-discovery board with Murata SN8000 module. OpenOCD support st-link, I even managed to configure SDK to connect to board, but I am getting stuck in hard faults while debugging. Has anyone succeeded in running WICED on stm32f4-discovery board?
Show LessHi everybody,
I'm working on a ccandc. I would know if there is a possibility to choose one of the b/g/n mode while programming.
By the way, I'm using the WICED-SDK-3.3.1 version.
And I use a BCM43438 on SoftAP mode.
Thank you all.
