I've been trying to get the BCM943362WCD4 working in ubuntu 14.04. I have done the procedure described in "Link". It still doesn't seem to be showing up, here is the current status of the device when using "cat /sys/kernel/debug/usb/devices"

I'm running out of ideas, any help would be greatly appreciated!

PLEASE UPDATE THE INSTALLATION DOCS FOR LINUX

See bellow for fix:

sudo chmod 666 /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/ftdi_sio/new_id

nano /sys/bus/usb-serial/drivers/ftdi_sio/new_id

type my vendor and product id and save file with CTRL+x > yes

Little surprised that no one chimed in...
