Hello, I have some very urgent questions, can these be answered today? These questions arise due to logistics issues, using BCM43341 in place of BCM43340 in a design.

1 This looks to be correct, but I want to confirm: Outside the NFC functionality, is the BCM43341 a direct replacement for the BCM43340? Everything about the radio HW and FW interaction are the same?

2. If BCM43341 without enabling NFC were used to replace the BCM43340, would there be any implementation differences?

3. With the attached schematic, given the No connect or Ground states of the NFC specific pins, could the BCM43341 be a drop in replacement here??

Thank you so much for your help

Hi ajaybharadwaj

1. Yes, 43341 could be used in place of 43340. The WLAN and BT firmware are compatible between both modules.

2.If you have a implementation based on 43340, the 43341 could be used in place of 43340 without any changes.

3. For unused NFC connections on 43341, the 43340 suggested unused NFC terminations needs to be followed. Basically a 43341 is a drop in replacement for 43340 but the NFC on 43341 is not utilized.

Thanks,
Seyhan

What is the module you are using and what are you looking to replace it with?
