I try to run snip.hal.gpio example in WICED Studio 6.1.
When I config WICED_P04 as GPIO and output low, but it always keep high, the voltage only drop to 2.9V.
Could WICED_P04@ pin config as GPIO?
or it has been locked internally as another function .
Show LessHello,
I'm trying to test HCI mode using CYBT-423028 module. The HCI reset command is correctly working and then I don't see any response from module against any HCI command.
It seems the default baud rate is 115200 as attached, I could get correct response against HCI reset from CYBT-423028
After HCI reset, I tried to read BD address, but no responding from CYBT-423028
If I change the baudrate to 3M for host side and sending read BD address command(01 03 0c 00), I can see 04 10 01 00 from CYBT-423028
This issue is same with CYW920719Q40EVB board if I press RESET switch(SW2) and then sending HCI reset.
Do you know how to solve the issue?
Show LessHi, experts,
In Wiced Studio 6.x, come code have been made as library, such as fw_upgrade_lib, it will created .a file while compiling your application if your code reference to them.
The application image could be cleaned by 'make clean', but looks like those .a still stand there even doing so. I would like modify some library code and not wipe them out one by one, is there any convenience way to do this job?

Show LessIn light of yesterday's announcement, are you guys going to support Bluetooth Mesh in future versions of WICED SDK 2, and if so, do you have a rough idea when support for it will come out?
Show LessGreetings,
Everytime I send a data packet to my module via SPP, I see that it transmits a huge amount of WICED packets to the host.
In this case, the only bytes that are useful for the host are the ones corresponding to the data received via SPP.
Is there any way to prevent the module from transmitting any WICED packet that is not from the SPP group?
Thank you in advance.
Best regards.
Show LessI am using a CYBT-343026-EVAL board to connect to many BLE sensors and to read data from them via GATT. My code is based on the example snip/ble/gatt_db. I would like to connect to as many sensors as possible, in the ideal case up to 16 sensors should be connected.
Every sensor sends 100 GATT notifications per second with a small payload. When I am connected to multiple sensors the throughput of some sensors drops below 100 notifications per second, sometimes as low as 25 notifications per second. I have tried to fiddle around with the parameters conn_min_interval and conn_max_interval. See the table below for my results. max_simultaneous_links was set to 8 for these tests.
conn_min_interval | conn_max_interval | Result |
---|---|---|
6 | 6 | I can connect to 6 sensors with no problems. After the sixth sensor is connected I can no longer scan for new sensors. |
8 | 8 | I can connect to 8 sensors, but sometimes the throughput of a sensor drops. This issue is fixed by reconnecting the sensor that was last connected. |
16 | 16 | I can't connect more that 4 sensors without getting throughput losses for at least one sensor. |
32 | 32 | I can't connect more that 4 sensors without getting throughput losses for at least one sensor. |
64 | 64 | I can't connect more that 4 sensors without getting throughput losses for at least one sensor. |
I suspect that the problem is an overlapping transmit window that causes some notifications to be lost. Reconnecting one sensor (and therefore setting a new transmit window) sometimes fixes the problem. Setting a fixed transmit window length may fix the problem.
I have multiple questions:
- Is there a fixed limit to the number of connections the CYW20706 chip can set up to BLE devices?
- Is there a way to set a fixed transmit window length?
- Do you have any other suggestions which parameters in wiced_bt_cfg_settings_t may affect the number of connected devices?
Hello, I have a little inconvenience with the example project in this link http://www.cypress.com/documentation/software-and-drivers/cysmart-mobile-app
When I launch it on xcode and set up properly the bundleID name, xcode complains about some missing references in all over the project, is it only me?
Im currently using the lastest version of xcode (9.3), Is there a way to fix up this issue?, or can someone give me a full funcitonal version of this project?, thanks
Show LessWe are using the CYBT-343026 Bluetooth module with Wiced Studio 6.1 in a Bluetooth HID Device.
The HID report descriptor is combined with other SDP records and initialized by calling the function wiced_bt_sdp_db_init(). What is the maximum size of the of the data base array that can be passed to the wiced_bt_sdp_db_init() function?
What is the maximum size of an HID report that can be sent to the function wiced_bt_hid_send_data()? There is a defined constant HID_DEV_MTU_SIZE set to 64. Does this mean that the maximum size of an HID report is 64 bytes?
