The product guide advertises it as being 5.0 compliant, and LE extended packets were introduced in v4.2. However I can't find any examples using more than the old 31B max. The only trace of extended packets I could find was an ADV_EXT macro that was undef'ed.

Hi Nicholas,

CYW20719 doesn't support extended adv packet. It only supports 2Mbps feature of 5.0 as mentioned in the datasheet ( http://www.cypress.com/file/414181/download ) Table 1. So the maximum adv packet length for 20719 is 31 bytes itself.

Thanks & Regards,

Anjana

Thank you for your response, Anjana.

In Table 1 of the document you sent me, under Bluetooth v4.2, it mentions support for Data Packet Length Extension. I am under the impression that this is exactly what I want, and the device appears to at least advertise support for it. Is this correct?

Thank you,

Nicholas

Hi Nicholas,

The table mentions about the Data length extension for Data channel PDU (packet transmitted during connected state);  not the advertising channel PDU.

Thanks,

Anjana
