Hi,

Can application read data from HCI UART(Not PUART) on BCM20737?

I did the following steps on BCM920737TAG:

     1. Disconnect UART_RX

     2. Reset

     3. Connect UART_RX

     4. Call "bleprofile_ReadUART" to read data from HCI UART.

But "bleprofile_ReadUART" can't read any data from HCI UART.

Could you tell me the usage of API "bleprofile_ReadUART()".

I have BCM920736. We are making 1000 boards. I want each one to have a different device name. It can be either like.

"Device-xxxxxx" where xxxxxx are the last 6 digits of that device's unique MAC address.

or xxxxxx could just be random numbers.

But I can't have two devices with the same device name because it will cause interference in my app.

This should be done with only one single firmware binary because we will be programming them all at a factory that will have only one unique firmware image.

Hi Everyone,

Is CYW2073x capable to be configured as Central role and then connect with two Peripheral devices for concurrent transmission (not ADV)?

The customer product needs to connect with other two devices and then send the control commands (via custom GATT profiles) to them at the same time (without connect A, TX,disconnect A, connect B, TX, disconnect)  . Time division/sharing will cause out of sync due to time difference.

Please also advise the corresponding documentation reference for the above implementation.

I have two problem.

The first,

I developed BLE product using BCM920737TAG-03 and SDK2.2.3 under windows 10.

When it compiled(built),  errors was occured as blow.

"makefile:184: recipe for target '../../build/hello_sensor-BCM920736TAG_Q32-rom-ram-Wiced-release/A_20736A1-hello_sensor-rom-ram-spar.cgs' failed"

"Makefile:350: recipe for target 'hello_sensor-BCM920736TAG_Q32' failed"

I confirmed switch setting and any configuration according to Qucik Start Guide.

Everything was correct.

I tried the other desktop installed windows 7.

As a result, it worked very well.

I don't know the difference between windows 7 and windows 10.

Please help me.

The second,

Using desktop installed windows 7, i tried to make WICED sense application.

But, there was no  wiced sense item in Make Target window of smart IDE .

In Apps directory, there was wiced sense folder.

How can i build and download wiced sense.

Does anyone know if there's a development kit for the CYW20704 (preferably with an SMA connector)? I'm also looking for the Windows driver. Actually, aside from the datasheet I can't find any material from Cypress for developing for this product.

The documentation of blecm_startTimerSource is quite sparse.

What parameter is passed to the callback function?

I call:

blecm_startTimerSource(12, TimerCallback, 100)

but TimerCallback never gets called.

Is there any updated API documenation available?

What are the expected default logical levels of CLK/MOSI/MISO?

The pins don't appear to be configured with gpio_configurePin() in spi_comm_master.c

CYW20737 runs as a server.

How to implement a read characterictic similar as in Device-Name?

The firmware will update the value during non-connect. Once a client connects it will read that value immediately. That works nicely for device-name, but I need a sepearate characteristic for that.

In all the examples I found nothing appropiate, only writing to a characteristic
