HI,
I am using fx3s in gpif 2 interface with an image sensor.
my image sensor pins are only 10.
my fx3 firmware is configured for 16bit gpif2 in gpif 2 designer tool.
from data0 to data9 is connected to an image sensor.
remaining data10 to data15 are not connected.
can i use these unconnected p port pins as normal GPIO's????
any changes regarding data value in the (p port to u port) commit buffer??
thank you.....
Show LessI want to connect a LED to GPIO Pin. The LED brightness is controlled using PWM signal. LED specifications are
Vf = 3.3v
If = 20mA
Vr= 5V
Ir = 2uA
Do I have to connect any resistor or LED driver?
what is the max current I can get from GPIO pins of FX3.
Show Lesshow many i2c slave devices can be driven by a single i2c master fx2lp and fx2lp18??
how to set gpif to its idle state by setting register in fx2lp gpif?
in GPIFIDLECS register...
IDLEDRV bit is equal to 0 -->tristate the data bus
DLEDRV bit is equal to 1-->drive the data bus
by clearing the IDLEDRV bit to 0,can i put gpif in idle state?
or
can i use GPIFABORT register to put the gpif in idle state?
help me
Show LessI have seen Interfacing FX2LP™ with Image Sensor - KBA95736 in cypress community,i need an example code for this,please provide me,thank you
Show LessI have a board with CYUSB3033 device which has FX3S interface provided by Cypress.
I want to use UVC with my FX3s device but when I look at example page I saw example code provided by Cypress is for FX3.(related products CYUSB301x)
Can I use FX3 UVC example with an FX3S device with same configuration? If not, there is a chance to create a UVC interface with FX3S device?
If you have examples, can you share with me for FX3S UVC configuration?
Also I would be happy if you tell me a way to create another type camera interface with FX3s device?(Maybe RAW 8/10/12)
Show Lesshi,
i wanted to interface sdxc sdcard to s0 port of fx3s
i got know that fx3 needs an external regulator to swich from 3.3v to 1.8 IO supply (so port)
and i have gone through cypress community regarding FX3S- Schematic of USB RAID ON CHIP USB DONGLE
in which ,
they are using gpio control on regulator.
they are using GPIO_16(DQ12) and respective software code as
initparams.lowvoltage=cytrue;
initparams.voltageswgpio=VSEL_S0_GPIO;
My question is
1)is it compulsory to use specific gpio (GPIO_16)?
2)can i use any other gpio?
thank you...
if any user manual or document is there,please provide me.
Show LessHello,
in my CX3-based application I enabled the 'PIB interrupt' callback, by registering my CyU3PPibIntrCb_t-compliant function with the CyU3PPibRegisterCallback API: I don't need this for any purpose apart checking for unexpected conditions while I'm in a debug phase for the entire application.
Surprisingly I'm having my callback called many times during apparently normal operation, with cbType == CYU3P_PIB_INTR_ERROR and CYU3P_GET_GPIF_ERROR_TYPE(cbArg) == CYU3P_GPIF_ERR_INVALID_STATE.
Even if I'm not sure that it is legal to do so, in those circumstances I'm trying to understand which GPIF SM state is considered 'invalid', by calling the CyU3PGpifGetSMState from inside the callback. According to that procedure the states that seem to trigger the error are: CX3_IDLE_SCK0/1, CX3_WAIT_FOR_FRAME_START_SCK0/1, CX3_PARTIAL_BUFFER_IN_SCK0/1 and undocumented states 131 and 132.
Since I'm working on the CX3 device, I'm using the 'fixed'function' GPIF configuration that results from the call to CyU3PMipicsiGpifLoad(CY_U3P_MIPICSI_BUS_24, buffer_size).
Is the described behavior normal/expected ? If not, what could be causing the triggering of those errors ?
Please note that my application is currently a bit peculiar because I'm programming a custom D-PHY/CSI-2 sensor for image frames composed of a single line: as a result I'm currently keeping the line/frame rate quite low (compared to what supported by the sensor HW) in order to be able, on the CX3 side, to keep up with the corresponding interrupt rate.
Thanks in advance and best regards, Nicola.
Show LessHI,
please see the attached schematic of fx3s raid on chip usb dongle
in this schematic,
why they are using SI2305DS-T1-E3E31 mosfet (U8) and GPIO VSD1_GPIO14
What's the purpose?
thank you
