I took basic cyfxgpiftousb example from c:\Program Files (x86)\Cypress\EZ-USB FX3 SDK\1.3\firmware\basic_examples\ and added CyU3PPibRegisterCallback to the sources to see if there is some events happen during GPIF to DMA transfer. I was surprised a lot when I saw in output CYU3P_PIB_ERR_THR0_WR_OVERRUN errors.

As I think these error happen while IN_DATA action trying to work during DMA buffers are switching. Am I right? If so, how can I pause the data input process until next buffer will be ready? My modified source code is attached.

I developing firmware that can stream data at 720p@30 fps. Input format is RAW10. As RAW10 is not supported streaming for windows, I have experimented with two configurations using reference from the below link. As we want higher resolution as our next goal we want higher throughput. We want to go ahead with the second option. But we are unable to stream 720p@30fps.

1) Experiment 2:  16-bit output data format (CY_U3P_CSI_DF_YUV422_8_2)  in which Streaming is Working

I am looking for an equivalent form of the FindPin Function in Video for Linux that will allow me to send a trigger to a UVC camera that is attached to my computer by USB. The camera has a FX3 chip inside. The camera is compatible to stream in Linux with no problems already. The stillpin works correctly in Windows and can trigger the camera sending the commands to do so. I am looking for the equivalent of this in Linux. I am making a QT creator application in Linux that will simply stream video on a GUI and have a trigger button, when pressed on the GUI it will send a trigger command to the cameras pin and will capture an image from the video stream.

Or, do you have a plan for that product?

CY7C65213 is USB 2.0 certified, so I just want this 3.0 certified version.

Dear supports,

we want to use memory in normal operation F/W (280KB) + backup F/W (280KB).

During normal operation, only F/W (280KB) is used. If there is a problem with the F/W in the EEPROM, we would like to be able to boot to the Backup F/W.

(Only one of normal operation F/W or backup F/W)

Currently, we understood that the use of 256KB EEPROM 2EA in FX3 is the limit specification.

However, the EEPROM memory-related restrictions on the FX3 document have not been confirmed and the reason is unknown.

Please answer the following questions.

1. 1. Reason for FX3 + 256K EEPROM 2EA limit specification
2. 2. Whether FX3 and EEPROM can be used as follows.

   1) FX3 + 512KB EEPROM 1EA

   2) FX3 + 512KB EEPROM 2EA

Write data to Storage Port(through FatFs):

I was running the cyfx3_fatfs  example code on FX3S board, where am using write command

FX3S: `write` sample

Above command works fine and able to write raw data to that sample file and by defaults, it writes 20MB data, next what I did was executed the same command

FX3S: write sample1

this time while writing the data I just removed the SD card and it hangs.
Would like to know do we get any error from f_write?
if we are removed the SD card and it is blocking in f_write.
