HI,everyone
I am currently programming SPI FLASH in FX3 Control Center (W25Q32JVSSIQ), but have been stuck in programing of spi flash in progress... ; When I used the logic analyzer to capture data analysis, I found that when the control center started FLASH programming, 3014 first issued the command 0x06, then 0XD8000000, and then issued the command 0x05 to query, FLASH reply 0x03(busy flag); About 150ms later, the FLASH chip returned to 0x02, but 3014 still sent 0x05 without further instruction. Could you please give me some advice

We want the CY7C65211 to be able to change the pid to 0x40 under Linux, making the chip work in SPI mode. What should we do? Update command code through code? Or a configuration tool under Linux? (Can you provide us with command code or configuration tools under Linux? Thank you.)
Show LessHello,
Anyone out there having experience of using the CY7C65215 as USB to I2C bridge for communication with an SSD1306 or SSD1308 OLED display?
I have not yet managed to test this myself, and I am wondering if there are any technical or API limitations preventing this combination from working?
Thanks!
Best regards,
Magnus
I download the firmware by the control center on Win7, and the board can work normally. I move the same firmware + sw + hardware to a windows 10 machine. After downloading firmware, the board does not work.
anyone have suggestion? thanks

Hi support,
Thank you for your usual support.
My customer is developing a CY7C65215-32LTXI.
During development, do you provide writing tools that can be easily incorporated into the environment to be inspected, such as Windows command line applications, source code, and Python libraries?
I know that there are tools with GUIs, but I would like to use the above tools to reduce manual operations during inspection as much as possible.
Best regards,
Koki
Show LessHi!
How do I write a program in C for Linux to configure all 21 GPIO pins of the CY7C65215?
I want some to be GPIO inputs and some to be GPIO outputs, and 2 pins will be configured for I2C master.
I successfully wrote a small program to handle the reading and setting of values for the GPIO configured pins. I just need to configure them first according to your documentation that should be possible.
Please don't recommend that Windows demo/example app that was made for experimentation with the evaluation board.
I need to make configuration and programming during mass production in a factory environment without human interaction.
This is very urgent, so please provide source code examples if possible.
Thank you!
Best regards,
Magnus
Hi,
Could you provide Linux sample codes for getting and setting GPIO config from and to CY7C65215 ?
Because there are only sample codes of getting and setting GPIO values and no reference codes for getting and setting GPIO config in CyUSBSerial_SDK_Linux package.
Best Regards,
Justy Huang

Show LessHi Support,
Thank you for your usual support. My customer have a question, could you please answer below?
Target:USB-UART Controller CY7C65213
The Internal flash memory is used with default values.
(Meaning that it is not intentionally rewritten by the Utility)
Therefore, I thought that the Baud rate would be limited to the following 115200bps described in the datasheet, but it seems that communication is normally possible with Windows 10 PC <-> USB 12Mbps <-> UART 3Mbps.
Could you please tell me why it is possible to communicate like this?
Best regards,
Koki

Hi,
I use the CY7C68013A in Slave FIFO mode with external clock.
When the externally supplied IFCLK fails due to some reason, the FIFO becomes stuck, even if the external clock is revived.
Currently, the only remedy I know of is pulling the USB plug.
I know that the external IFCLK must be present before switching to external clock, but bad things happen sometimes.
What can I do if the external clock starts too late or has been off or below the minimum frequency temporarily (other than pulling and re-seating the USB plug)?
Thanks!
P.S.:
Disabling and re-enabling the device or the USB root hub in the Windows Device Manager (-> new enumeration) does not solve the problem.
