Is it possible to use any EZ-PD IC straight as shipped from CYPRESS with its factory settings, for a charger-only application?

We want to develop an automotive USB-C PD charger. To accomodate production, we would like for the EZ-PD conroller to be used straight out-of-the-box, without needing to be programmed.

Is that possible?
