Hello

The customer is designing based on the CCG3PA data sheet( Document Number: 002-16951 Rev. *F) on page 14, Figure.8 as a reference schematic, but does Cypress have any experience with the combination of TI's TPS40054 for ICs used in DC-DC?

Best Regards

Arai

Hi Arai,

TPS40054 is based on 0.7 VREF. It is not a good DC/DC candidate for CCG3PA. Since CCG3PA is suit for VREF = 1.2V.

Meanwhile, TPS40054's Vfb cannot be adjustable. So that CCG3PA cannot change it by other channel.

Please do not select this part number for CCG3PA direct feedback.

Best Regards,

Lisa
