I will test bonding with BCM2073x. BCM2073x is peripheral.
My application want many bonding count more 20. The more bonding count is the better.
How many bonding are available?
If BCM2073x is limited, Do you know the better idea?
Thanks and Regards

Show LessAccording to the BCM20737 datasheet, it is possible to obtain a reference design for A4WP.
As BCM20737 is part of Cypress, what is the best way to receive support to use BCM20737 for A4WP development?
Thanks,
Andrew
"The BCM20737 includes support for wireless charging in hardware, software, and firmware. It supports the
protocol for implementing wireless charging solutions based on the specifications written by the Alliance for
Wireless Power (A4WP).
The A4WP protocol is embedded in the BCM20737. Hardware and firmware elements required for wireless
charging are either implemented in the BCM20737 or can be obtained through a Broadcom technical support
representative"
Show LessHi I am senior in high school who has no idea about bluetooth and bluetooth devices. For an engineering course that I am taking right now, I have to design and build a button that can be bluetooth connected to a phone in which the phone would then send your GPS signal to the police. I currently have no idea where to start and could use some guidance on what I can buy to build my project. Thanks
Show LessCan anybody tell me more about Device UUIDs? This may also refer to Project, Application or Peripheral UUID. I know it's there because It comes up at the top before the Device Name in Light Blue. I can't find anything in Wiced Smart SDK about how to set it and whether or not it should vary from device to device. Currently, I'm initialising units by running Anaren Programmer first, and I think this is setting it. I then use Wiced Smart SDK to program my application, and also use it to set unique BT Mac address, but I can't see anything that affects this devce UUID.
Show LessHi Everyone,
For production test purpose, our local customer is looking for Reference/Example of PC controlling DUT (BCM20735PKML1G) via BLE USB dongle (expecting via Broadcom Serial over GATT)?
Appreciate for guidance/suggestion, Thanks in advance!

Show LessAs discussed in a previous thread, the accelerometer driver in firmware version 1.3 has a problem. It reduces the resolution of the accelerometer by a factor of 16.
I am the author of an application for astronomical use. I have been supporting Wiced Sense since January 2015, and encouraging my application's users to purchase Wiced Sense. Note that these users may not have the skills to compile or flash the SDK directly.
In the last 4 weeks, I have dived deep into Wiced Sense and sensor calibration techniques, did many field experiments along with the app's users, and I think Wiced Sense could help telescope users a lot!
The accuracy improvement from accelerometer fix would help tremendously. The fix is simple; 3 lines of change. A corresponding change in the Android app would be required and that would be trivial as well.
If I compile and distribute the firmware myself my app's users won't be able to upgrade over the air because the signature verfication would fail.
Can Cypress update the firmware and make a new official release?
thanks,
HRJ
Show LessI have a Taiwan NCC modular certificate for the BCM20732S. We've placed the module it into a host. If it's anything like FCC, all we'd have to do is spurious emissions, and display the ID on the product. A test lab has informed us we need to go through full radio certification again in the host to get our own ID number. Somehow I don't think this is correct. Does anyone have an experience with this? Thanks.
Show LessI'm just beginning my work with BCM2073X.
I'm currently using the Hello Client and Hello Sensor Applications to transfer data between two tags. I can see the data being transferred using Tera Term.
Hello Client is on COM 3 & 4 while Hello Sensor is on COM 5 &6.
I am inputting data using COM 6 (key strokes from my PC for now). This is then picked up by the Hello Client tag and printed on COM 3.
It is my understanding that the first COM Port is for downloading data, how do i transfer the data downloaded by COM 3 to COM 4. I want to do this as I wish to transfer this data to an external chip later on in the project.
Thanks in advance.

Hi, I'm just beginning coding with BCMs. I have very little coding knowledge but need the BCMs for a project.
I have two Bluetooth connected BCMs. The master is running the Hello_Client application. I am trying to transmit/print the data collected by the hello_client BCM via UART (as opposed to the trace), i.e. I can see the data in COM 3 but would like to transmit it to COM 4. I feel like puart_write and puart_print are the best ways to achieve this but am having no luck so far.
Does anyone know a good way of achieving this?
Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.
Show LessHi all,
I have a custom board with BCM920737S that I'm trying to program without success. The SDK (2.2.3) can detect the device, it stars to download the firmware (healt thermometer) but after few seconds the following statement appears:
****Download failed - Press the reset button on the device and retry ****
See attached the download log.
I've also tried the recover but I get "Recovery failed".
I'm using the FTDI USB to serial 3.3V cable;
P1 is pulled down by a 10k resistor to ground
There is an inertial sensor (MPU9250) connected to the I2C but it is not populated on the board.
SCL and SDA are pulled up by 10k resistors.
Any suggestion?
Kind regards
Marko
