        Hello all,

I bought a kit with Cypress PSoC and got MiniProg CY3217 with it. I have Linux at home. How can I program PSoC with this MiniProg on Linux ?

I can even write some simple USB application to have it work, in case that nothing exists. Do you have some description of the protocol ?

Thank you in advance,

        Hello Vaclav,

Cypress tools are designed to work with Windows as an operating system and so is the case with miniprog1 because the PSoC Programmer is not designed for Linux system.

        Hello Pushek,

I know that PSoC Programmer is not available for Linux. That is why I am asking for some protocol description of Miniprog. I did some programming with LibUSB library.

FYI there are M8C development tools for Linux. The truth is that they are not developed by Cypress, but third party.

Best Regards,
