What is the latest USB to I2C bridge software revision?
On the product I just purchased the "About" tab indicates version 1.25
The reason I'm asking, the user guide shows a function that it is not available on my version........specifically the ability to manually select the Y axis range on the "Variable Settings" menu.
The attached files show the issue.
Thanks.
Show LessHi:
I try to use EOC signal of ADC as trigger, but it failed. Then I put the EOC on output pin, and capture by Oscilloscope. EOC is hi instead of a pulse.
API ADC_1_IsEndConversion() polling indicates the convertion works well. EOC signal is hi, not toggled.
Can you help? Attached my schematic in experiment
Show LessHello Everyone,
I am very new to the PSoC concept but I am very interested in growing my skills. My project goal is to develop a 20 channel function generator with an USB interface and then use an API/GUI to select the type of signals I would like on each of the 20 outputs. My requirements are such that the amplitude is in the range of 0-3 volts in 0.05 step and 0-20 Hz in 0.01 step (roughly 7 bit and 11 bit respectively). For the short term however my questions are:
1. Would I be able to meet such requirements with a PSoC 3?
2. Would there be much in external circuitry required?
3. Could I use internal amplifiers to adjust the amplitude i.e. gain control?
4. For now I would just like to get started with generating a square wave (not a PWM based design) on 20 of the PSoC3 pins so I can probe around with an Oscope as I explore how to use the hardware/software. I have the first touch PSoC3 starter kit. I am thinking I need comparators/timers (20 of them actually) and just toggle the output with the count as 1/2 the period of the square wave. I do need to hold the resolution requirements for this. Not really clear how to get started on this. I watched some Cypress Videos and I have general navigation skills but I just need some help picking the right direction.
Guidance is highly appreciated.
Best Regards,
Wess
Show LessIs there any version of PSoC5 for automotive?
Hi,
I am trying to get a 1KHz output from a PWM. I am using a 8 bit PWM with the following configurations.
Clock - VC2 (VC1 divider = 16; VC2 divider = 15)
Period = 99
Pulsewidth = 50
With VC2 clock at 100KHz, with PWM period of 99, the output should be 1KHz. But I am getting an output near 240KHz from the PWM. Can someone point me what could be the mistake?

Show LessCan anyone explain explain to me how to set up a simple delay function? Is there a #include delay.h that goes up top?
I have the delay.h header file in my source code.
Is this the correct way to write the delay function?
if((PRT0DR & 0x02) == 0x02)
{
PRT1DR = 0x01;
Delay50uTimes(255);
PRT1DR = ~0x01;
}
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you
Show LessHello,
My kit did not come with the 24 MHz crystal installed. Is there a reason that this is the case? Can I install a crystal myself, or is there an oscillator errata?
