Dear PSoCDevelopers
I'm trying to establish communication between PSoC 3 and PC. I'm using libusb 1.0 from Host side.
I was able to find the device (PSoC 3) and get USB descritors from the device, but I cannot change the USB descriptors of the PSoC (for example Vendor ID, Product ID, number of interfaces).
I'm trying to change USB descriptors using PSoC Creator by programming USBFS (USB full speed) component. But in the host (PC) I'm always getting the same USB descriptors. My purpose to send and receive som data from the PSoC.
What can be the reason that I'm always getting the same descriptors, even I'm changing it in the USBFS component?
I'd really appreciate, if someone could help me
Best regards,
Gurgen
Show LessHello everybody
I'm a university student and new to PSOC5 world. I have done a couple of projects using PIC microcontrollers and I want to learn PSOC5.
I have been looking at the the kits and they seem a bit pricey. wich kit do you think I should buy?
Show LessHi everyone,
It is just that i am trying to pull out the features of count7 counters in UDB and hence a lot of posts on that. So, after having realised the use of the count7 module to design counters and use their terminal count efficiently, we will now try designing timers out of that.
Designing timers with the count7 cell is very simple. All we need to do is to make the cy_route_ld - `TRUE and we should also load the period value appropriately. To load the period value use the, cy_period parameter. To start the timer, we need to issue a load signal initially. Once it is loaded initially the Timer will run in a continuous mode.
Happy designing,

On strange occasions, I recalled a memory of some PSoC.
But that could not programming at all.
PSoC Programmer has a device family and device type of it still now.
Even if the CY3210-MiniEval has jumper for 20pin DIP.
This PSOC was born to the world by the Cypress.
How unhappy it is.
can i interface my light sensor with CY8CKIT-001 PSoC1 .
if yes, then hw can i interface it in order to detect light intensity. help me out me sample module
if not, then what is another option i should go for? Do i've to buy another kit for interfacing.
