Hi,
Each time when I build a project, the header files I've included into interrupt service routine files are getting deleted.
Its becoming a recurring task to again type the #include directive at all the isr.c files for the every time I build.
Same problem is encounterd when the design is modified even without touching the isr component.
Solution for this?
Show LessHello,
I am using CY8C5868AXI-LP035. According to the data sheet the output from VDAC is 1 Mega samples per second. but when I run the test code ( attached with this post) it doesn't gives an alternating output and sticks to one value.
Kindly let me know what is the problem.
Regards,
Show LessHi.
How can I send byte, using ALU, from A0 register outside UDB, for example to wire it to LEDs? I was trying few things but no one of them worked.
Show LessHi (new guy here),
I am trying to figure out how I can let my PSoC-5LP be a System Controller for a Z80 computer project I am doing. Functionality I have in mind is loading programs directly into Z80 memory, debug support, extended (above 64k) memory management etc. I started with a UART implementation to hook up to a terminal on the PC (just to get a feel for it) and now I have that working, I was looking into how to transfer a (Z80) program from the PC, over UART link, directly into the memory of the Z80 computer.
I looked at the EMIF and DMA sample which looked relatively simple. However the designer does not allow me to re-assign the ports in use by the EMIF for other purposes. The problem is that the EMIF only need to be active when I am doing a DMA into external Z80 memory. At any other moment the EMIF needs to be disconnected and the Address and Data bus are used for monitoring purposes (inputs) - and perhaps some external memory decoding (also inputs).
I am starting to think that the EMIF is not the correct tool for the job, but I would like some confirmation from people that have a little more experience on the PSoC than I have (like I said, new guy). Also if you have any suggestions for alternative solutions...
Thanx, Marc
Show LessI could say ADC information company pass a fitro and fitro to USB by DMA?
Hello,
What are the USB pins for PSoC 059? I already tried the P12[6] and P12[7], but they directed the UART data to kitprog port, and I want to use the USB application port (the different one than the USB Kitprog).
Show LessHello, I've actually got a couple questions, one more trivial that I just haven't tested and one more specific which I haven't be able to find anything about in the DMA Application notes.
1) When you disable the signal to drq, will a DMA stop operating even if the TD is only partially complete it's Transfer Count? ie, you have an ADC's eoc feeding into a DMA which transfers that data to a array of 200 bytes (100 samples at 2 Bytes per sample) and you suppress the eoc signal (say, with a control register and an AND gate) so the DMA no longer receives the EOC rising edge, will the DMA pause even though the TD hasn't finished it's Transfer Count?
2) Once the DMA is paused, is there any good way to figure out where in the buffer execution ceased? In particular, I want to use an ADC to fill a ring buffer in memory until until a coarse event occurs (ADC output goes above a set level), then pause the ring buffer and starting from the latest value work backwards to the start of the event.
Is there a way to do this? Or perhaps I need to do something tricky like synchronize a second DMA set the next value to -1 every time the DMA runs so I have a known value I can search for?
Thanks for looking at this,
Sean
Show LessI know there's a clear Eeprom api, however, I was wondering if there is anyway to clear a device's eeprom via PSoC Creator when programming the chip?
Thanks for any advice
Show LessHey there,
I have a CY8KIT-050. For some reason, windows is now refusing to recognize the device. It knows something is there, but it shows up as "Unknown Device" and has no driver. The PSOC Creator finds nothing when I try to program it. Everything worked last week, but this week something has gone wrong. Perhaps an update?
How do I solve this problem?
Thanks
