Hi All,

I had taken the CySmart example code, and started making my own application for BLE. I am getting some exception errors when adding this following

 application = (CySmartApplication) getActivity().getApplication();

in the profile scanning fragment.java file

Any idea on it?

error:

  Caused by: java.lang.ClassCastException: android.app.Application cannot be cast to com.fair.ashok.cypresssmart.CySmartApplication

This is on Kickstarter the first PSOC BLE app, and they have a dev kit also, looks like they have a small platform that has about 12 sensors on the board so you can do almost anything, check it out...

Hello,

I have some parameters(Adc Voltage, temperature value, time & date stamping). I'm able to see them on my laptop screen through tera term using UART. I want to transfer the data through BLE, But i'm unable to transfer the data not getting data in CySmart tool. I created custom profile.

PSOC Creator Versions: 3.3 & 3.2

Prototype Kit: CY8CKIT-049-42XX (Processor Type- CY8C4245-AXI483)

I hav been using PSOC Creator 3.2 for some time now, and have no problems with it, the projects created and compiled with this work OK. However I downloaded PSOCCreator 3.3 just yesterday, and now I find that the projects that were working on PSOC Creator 3.2 do not work when compiled and programmed with the 3.3 version.

The projects compile correctly, no errors are reported, also the target prototype kit is programmed correctly by the bootloader host, however the prototype kit I am using does not work expected, in fact it does not work at all, it seems the processor is not powering up correctly, and the pins appear to be floating. But the same program while compiled and programmed in 3.2 version works correctly.

Please advise what is wrong. I have also attached the workspace that I was referring to above.

What's the differences between "ADC_Stop()/ADC_Start()" and "ADC_Sleep/ADC_Wakeup()" before I enter into deep sleep mode? And if I want less current consumption, which one should I choose?
