 Hi, can somebody tell me if is it possible to use 1 Wire Library in PSoC Creator 3.0? I want to use Temperature Sensor ds18b20. Where can I find this Lib?

low 5 bits show which channel was scanned. My result is always 2.

Is it bit value or integer.

if bit than there is no room for all 8 channels

If integer what vale has channel 0

Hi! I'm a newbie to the world of PSoC and amazing electronics. Im doing a fairly complicated project using PSoC, however I notice that a simple application like blinking an LED consumes a fairly large percentage of the memory. Can anyone please help me on how to interface an external EEPROM and which EEPROM is compatible with PSoC so that I can buy the right components.

My project has a complex algorithm, so a large C code and I'll also need to store a vast amount of data. Please help! 

The proximity sensor feature in my PSOC4 is working exactly like I need for my application.  However,  I'd like to find a way to shield a portion of the "antenna" so that it doesn't respond to proximity.  

I can explain further if needs be.  

Also, I'll try to keep checking the post, since (and I keep having this beef with the forum) the forum doesn't email notify.

 How can I tell if I'm running out of memory during program operation?  I have a fairly simple program, but it has some very large int32 arrays (500+ elements).  On compile there's no problems, and reports as to having lots of space left...
 

Flash used: 15072 of 32768 bytes (46.0 %).
SRAM used: 1556 of 4096 bytes (38.0 %).

But when I'm running the program it starts running horribly slow, or incorrectly.  If I reduce the size of the arrays things start working properly, but I really can't seem to narrow down where the problem is.  

Thoughts?

I have a simple application and on a CY8C4145 and I have placed some pins as input connected to some as output and a TCPWM component.

The issue it's that on P1.2 - TCPWM3:P I am getting some incorrect signals.  Pin P1.2 it's tied to a inpout pin (see image) but looks like some other procedure ti's outputting some values there.

Does anybody has any ideea how it's configured this pin ?

Another question : on Creator's  Component Catalogue  there are 2 almost simiar Timer Counter TCPWM. One has a pictogram like a tree and the other one like a romb . What would be the difference betweend them ?

Many of us may not be aware of the tips and tricks achievable using HSIOM (High Speed I/O Matrix) register in PSoC 4. I have attached a demo project which demonstrates how to switch the connection of a GPIO between different sources through firmware.

To add a footnote to this demo project, connection of a GPIO to Analog Mux makes use of Digital System Interconnects (DSI). Hence it is not straight forward to switch the connection of a GPIO between Analog Mux and any Digital block. However, in this project we have made use of Capsense dedicated routing for Analog Mux and have DSI dedicated for connecting GPIOs to UDBs.

 I want to connect a speaker of a buzzer as output. So that the speaker can produce sound. 

The only requirment is that I want to control the frequency of sound produced, is there any simplest way to set up?

So I bought a load of the wrong chips I wanted CY8C4245 AXI-483 but I bought the 4125's by accident.. these have no UDB so I can't use the nice Timer..

I want to use the TCPWM module to create an interrupt on a timing of my choice, let's say 1HZ.

The timer interface makes this really easy it shows you in seconds when the interurpt with occur..

however the TCPWM looks really complicated it has all graphs and stuff no times.

I read the datasheet but can't see any examples.

All I want is a 1 second timer.

I'm digging deeper into the datapath shift operation. I wonder what happens if a left/right shift operation is executed with the shift input or output set to right/left? Unfortunately I couldn't find explicit information about this special cases in the architecture technical reference manual.

For example, a typical configuration would be Shift = right, Shift in = from left (SIL), Shift out = right (SOR)

Now, if Shift out = left (SOL_MSB), the shift output will simply follow the shift input, right?

What happens if Shift out = right (SOR) and Shift in = from right (SIR)? If I understand the shift mechanism right, this combination is not possible, because the shift direction automatically selects the corresponding shift input. Is this true?
