PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
Hi. i have a question about Timer.
compared to other program, 'PSoC Creator' used wdt mostly by creating Timer.
but I think that side effect of this program could only 3 wdt.
but I want to use such as '1sec, 1min' Timer.
here's the example
***********************************************
SysTimer10ms++;
if(!(SysTimer10ms%600)) { // 1 min
SysTimerMin++;
}
if(!(SysTimer10ms%100)) { // 1 sec
SysTimerForDHCP++;//DHCP LEASE TIME CHECK NO
}
if(!(SysTimer10ms%10)) { //100 ms
SysTimer100ms++;
}
***************************************************
please teach me in detail.
Show LessHello
Can anyone tell me the correct procedure for getting the sound from the CY5672 Remote Control eval kit to pass through to the PC. Do I need to be running the CySmart app for this to work? Is there a document out there that explains the exact procedure for doing this?
Thanks

Show LessHi. New user here.
Is it possible to update the bootloader program on a CY8CKIT-049-42xx PSoC 4 using the USB interface or do I need to use the miniprog3? I seem to be running into the same issue noted below when trying to store a small amount of information using emEEPROM but do not yet have the miniprog3 and was wondering if there was another method I could use.
Thanks,
Ben
Show LessHello,
I'm doing some tests with the CYBLE-022001-EVAL and the pioneer kit CY8CKIT-042-BLE, and I'm having some problems with the interrupt for UART.
I am trying to add my own interrupt function to treat the bytes received, but no success. I can send bytes, but when I receive something the interrupt seems to be not called. Someone could give some help?
The project is attached.
Thank you!
Jorge
Show LessHi all,
Im trying to make a BLE central device that will connect to another bt 4.1 peripheral for IAS alarm setup. Im using Day 6 Central IAS as starting point. My peripheral has encryption and bonding requirements. I was able to connect to it and do some action with USB BLE dongle i just want to make it as standalone.
In day 6 project ive enabled security and bonding in BLE component. as well as added AUTH events. But im still not able to make write successfully to peripheral.
Any idea is appreciated?
Thanks!
Show LessI've been working on using the PSoC 4 as a data acquisition ucontroller, communicating with a master uC as a slave SPI device. I've managed to get the master and slave communicating, and have a capsense block configured, but as soon as I call CapSense_Start() and CapSense_initializeAllBaselines() the SPI communication stops working.
The commented code is what I would like to have implemented, and the uncommented code is working code that just mirrors back a message to the SPI master. Any ideas as to why capSense causes SPI to fail?
Show LessHello. I am using the CY8CKIT-042-BLE pioneer kit. I am trying to use the UART component to send characters to a putty terminal on my desktop computer. I have the UART configuration correct on both sides (baud rate, etc.) but I never get any characters in my putty window. I have attached my simple project. Can you please help me?
Show LessDoes PSoC4 BLE support FreeRTOS with BLE stack?
I have ported FreeRTOS on PoSoC4 BLE, advertising and connection is ok,but service discorvery didn't work.
Can you help me?
Show LessI use the SPI Master v2.5.
I have to read data from external RAM via SPI. I measured the time to write to internal SPI Master register like SPIM_1_WriteTxData(Adress>>16),
where SPIM_1 is the SPI Master. This access takes ~3.5µs, writing direct data like SPIM_1_WriteTxData(0x64) takes ~3.3µs. That means at 48MHz clock ~175 clock cycles.
Is there any way to speed up the register access? Is it better to directly write the SPI registers without using the API? Or is there something else I missed?

Show LessHello I'm new in this forum

any example, please help.
