I find cyble10563 worked very well below 3.3V, but some sensor in my pcb board worked wrong! so I want to stop the system when the voltage is below 3.3V.
what can I do ?
Show LessHi All
I m new for BLe, I need a help for connecting central with another already know 4 peripheral devices and exchange the data automatically from four peripheral devices to central device. Please share some example program.

Show LessSo I have a custom characteristic within a custom BLE service. I want the contents of this characteristic to be a Time Stamp.
If I look at GATT standard services / characteristics that have timestamps (such as Body Composition Measurement), a Time Stamp is stored as separate fields for Year, Month, Day, Hours, Minutes, and Seconds, and each of these fields has a Units setting, with some also having a Range setting. For example, the Month field has "Units: Month", the Seconds field has "Units: Month" and "Range: 0 to 59".
I can't figure out how to set Unit and Range for a field when I'm creating fields within a customer characteristic inside the BLE component in PSoC Creator ... I see them if I add the Body Composition Measurement service, but I can't get them on my own custom characteristic ...
(Better yet, I'd love to be able to simply select the GATT Time Stamp field type and have things automatically set for me ...)
Suggestions very welcome!
Show LessI'm having an issue trying to increase the resolution (decimals) of the temperature received over a Bluetooth LE Health Thermometer Service. Im using the example from AN91184, and the temperature can only be received as XX.00 deg.
To start, I tried changing the Thermistor configurations to have 0.1 deg for calculation resolution (instead of 0.5), and I also changed the max/min/mid temperature and resistance based off of recommendations from AN66477. It seems as though the ADC is properly calculating the temperature, but the HTS is not configured to send a high enough resolution.
I'm also using the following equip/materials:
- CY8C4247LQI-BL483 module
- CY8CKIT-042-BLE pioneer board
- PSoC Creator 3.3
I attached the design files from AN91184 and the configurations being used on the thermistor.
Show LessHi,
My development tool can connect to CY5677 usb dongle, but it can't work correctly when I pressed "pair" button to enter pairing flow(LE Secure Connections and Justwork authentication).
At first, CY5677 would send pairing request, then I send "pairing response" and followed by "pairing confirm(slave)". But CY5677 seems not to receive "pairing response" because CY5677 don't send "pairing random" and CySmsart pop up "AUTH_ERROR_AUTHENTICATION_TIMEOUT" a few seconds later.
I found it strange that after we sent "pairing response", my ble sniffer showed "crc error packets" from CY5677 at the next connection event.
However, I tried to set "SC bit(secure connection)" to 0 to request LE legacy pairing, it works fine!
I don't know why happened with CY5677 and how to pair with LE Secure Connections properly.
thanks!
Show LessHi!
I'm doing some experiments with the PSoC4 as a peripheral. I call CyBle_L2capLeConnectionParamUpdateRequest to request other connection parameters, but is there a way to check what the currently used connection parameters are?
Alternatively, is there some kind of event happening when the parameters are updated?
For instance the BLE MIDI specification (https://developer.apple.com/bluetooth/Apple-Bluetooth-Low-Energy-MIDI-Specification.pdf) states: "Apple recommends starting with a request for a connection interval of 11.25 ms and going to 15 ms if the connection request is rejected by the Apple product.", which seems hard to do without knowing the current parameters.
Thanks, Jacob
Show LessIn sample projects many of it have this text:
On an advertisement event timeout, if the device is not connected to any Client, the device goes to the Low Power mode (Hibernate mode) and waits for a SW2 button press to wake up the device again and start advertising.
but Sw2 not have interrupt handler and when user push button program make restart. I see for example in BLE_Battery_Level this message :
"BLE Battery Level Example Project " that placed in start of code.
How make that device will be real wake up ( advertising without reset) ?
Show Lesshello all ,
i am very new to psoc ,
i have a psoc 4 device which is connected to an F-RAM (FM24V10-G) via i2c ,
the psoc 4 device is also connected to a pc via uart (see attached file) ,
i want to be able to read / write to the F-RAM using an hyperterminal (without bridge Control Panel) ,
ex to write to teraterm / putty :
W 08 FF (write to address 08 in the fram the data FF)
R 08 (read the data stored in address 08 and display it in the terminal )
can you direct me to some example code / tips how can this be done?
Thanks lampel
Show LessHi,
I have a project I am working on for my company. As part of this I am required to save the project in a Subversion repository so it can be part of the deliverables for the whole project. I would like to know what files of the project should I save in Subversion ? Then when someone else pulls that revision they can build the project.
Would this be enough ? Or too much ?
