PSoC™ 4 Forum Discussions
Hi,
I am using CYBLE-014008-EVAL.
I have configured 2 touch buttons using CapSense CSD module.
I have been reference to the example CE210291_CapSense_P4_One_Button
I tried to use:
CapSense_CSD_Start(); to start CapSense function
CapSense_CSD_ScanSensor(button_id); to scan a button
CapSense_CSD_CheckIsSensorActive(button_id) to check whether the button is pressed
However, CapSense_CSD_CheckIsSensorActive(button_id) always returned 'FAIL'
Did I use the right function?
Can anyone show me a example code?
Thanks!
Terry
Show LessHello pSoc4 Gurus,
I have a sensor which provides a differential output where one signal is essentially the reference level and the other is the signal. Interfaced to a differential channel of the pSoc4 SAR ADC component everything works as it should. Basically ...
Sensor Signal ----> SAR ADC Positive input of ch0
Sensor Reference ----> SAR ADC negative input of ch0
I would like to determine if a sensor is connected or not. One way to do this would be to measure the voltage on the Sensor reference channel. I have tried to do this in various ways but always get an analog routing error while build the project. It appears that the same input pin cannot be connected to both the negative input of ch0(differential) and ch7(single ended with negative at Vss).
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thanks
Jim
Show LessHello,
In my project, i am reading data from RS4858 & displaying response to debug console.
In that, i need to print 32-bit signed data to debug console.
I am receiving data in correct variable but at displaying it prints its Unsigned int version.
Ex for -100 it display 65436.
Please help me solve to solve this issue.
Show LessHi,
i want to generate pwm for diffrent %of duty cycle.
I know the formula of dutycycle is
dutycycle=100 x compare value/period.
But this formula is giving wrong results in som ecases.
For example.
i want to generate a dutycycle of 50% ,
then my settings are compare value=1,set period=2ms ,input fequency is 1000HZ .According to the formula it has to give 50% duty cycle.
But in the configuration window it shows the wavesorm of 70% .
so,please help me to resolve the issue
Thanks in advance.
Show LessTrying to interface digital mic with PSoC 4 and send decibel level to UART. The datasheet and examples are not geared to the PSoC 4 - i.e. no rx/tx DMA etc.
Video and datasheet www.cypress.com/
Example project but w/ PSoC 5LP www.element14.com/community/thread/28830/l/psoc-4-pioneer-kit-community-project102-usb-audio-using-the-psoc-5lp
I have available both a PDM mic as well as an i2c mic store.invensense.com/datasheets/invensense/INMP441.pdf and can use either. Just assuming the i2s mic will be easier?
One issue seems to be the clock - max audio sampling in the i2c - PSoC 4 seems to be 96kHZ while microphone min. is .5 MHz. Seems like this can't be right or I am missing something?
Any similar projects or guidance on the clock issue (or other thoughts) are much appreciated.
Show LessI have a fixed stack bootloader application that I built, but from time to time, would like to update the profile. I don't really need to update the BLE stack, so the memory price to implement a upgradeable stack is too high. I simply want to be able to add custom attributes/characteristics to the existing profile. My thought was that I could do that with a profile only BLE component in the bootloadable application and swap it in over the bootloader version when the bootloadable gets loaded?
