Hi,
is it possible to use the CY8CKIT-142 board as stand alone, only powered by 5 V to receive commands from a self developed App and generate a PWM signal on an output to drive a transitor with a frequency of 200 Hz and depending on the transmitted AT command a duty cycle between 10 and 90 % ?
If so, would it be right to start with the development kit, build the software for the module and for the Android app?
Thanks, all the best,
Frank
Hi, I´ve been trying to make a simple calculator using my PsoC 4 pioneer kit connected to an LCD and a 4x4 keypad , but the process hasn´t been so good, can anyone help me find out how to program it well, i have tried everything and i dont know what else to do.
Show LessUsing capsense on a new project but not matter what we have tried we can not get it to run on Button 1 P0(6) it is attached to. Hoping to get some help as to why it does not work.
Below is Current:
Below is PCB Layout:
the layout has a shield grid but it is not shown. Note Button 0 works fine and also the proximity, we just get crickets from Button 1.
I will also attach project.
Show LessHello,
I have a question with internal pull-ups for PSoC 4 device (CY8C4014FNI-421AT). As per datasheets it can be seen that I can enable internal I2C 5.6 KOhms weak pulls ups through the below commands in firmware.
SCB_scl_SetDriveMode(SCB_scl_DM_RES_UP);
SCB_sda_SetDriveMode(SCB_sda_DM_RES_UP);
Can you please advise whether using internal resistors on I2C data & clock lines provides similar performance as that of the external pull-ups and we can eliminate the use of external pull-ups to save space in the design?

Show LessHi,
I have a fixed stack bootloadable project. It seems that upon entering the application, a hard fault happens on the line
*dst = *src;
in Bootloader_Start_c.
I'm wondering if anyone has seen this before and knows how to fix it?
Thanks!
Show LessIn datasheet of PSoC 4100S Plus, it is said "There is no analog regulator; the analog circuits run directly from the VDD input. ".
Then if anolog supply is variable, how can analog circuits (such as SAR_ADC, Op-amp) work well and keep reference voltage constant to ensure accurate signal without analog regulator?

For VDDA and VDDD, is it better to offer independent analog and digital supply?
Q3:
For bypass capacitor between VCCD and VSSD, What is the recommended capacitance value? 0.1uF or 1uF?

Hi
I am working on an HMI CapSense touch button for Automotive application, I need total 18 Touch buttons + 1 Slider(23 Pins for Touch buttons). For all my 18 touch buttons I need bi-colour Backlight. When the system is ON all the buttons should light (white colour) and which ever button is enabled that button colour should change to Amber. Please suggest how do I drive these LED’s, do I need 36 GPIO pins (18+18) for LED’s or is there any other way to control colour of Backlight of each buttons. I am using PSoc4100sPlus Auto Qualified PSoC
Thanks
Show LessCan I use PGA components with the PSoC 4500S series?
In PSoC Creator 4.3, I can not select it.
If components can not be able to used, how can I use opamp as a PGA?
