Hi Everyone,
I have a small issue with this Soc - C8YC4147AXI-S475 , I tried to enable the WCO PLL to have an accurate SYSCLOCK for the CAN but I don't know how to enable it.
Below you can see the warning :
Here my clock design
In my hardware design , I have a external crystal of 32.768 KHz between P0.5 and P0.4 .
I added this code in the main
CySysClkImoStart();
CyDelay(500);
CySysClkWcoStart();
CyDelay(500);
CySysClkImoEnableWcoLock();
Actually its impossible to receive or transmit CAN Message , I'm supposed this issue is the problem.
its really annoying because with this soc - CY8C4247AZI-M485 , you can trim the IMO directly in the system clock
Thank for your help .

I think I found an error in a PSoC® 4 Prototyping Kit Guide. Are errors something better brought up in the community forums, or with a support case?
Table 4.6 in the guide describes pin-out of J7 and seems to have an obvious error in the description column. I assume the markings on the board are correct.

Show LessI need your opinion(s) on terminal emulator programs that you use with your Creator projects.
I've been using PuTTy and have had no difficulty with Creator 4.2 and the CY8CKIT-042 Pioneer Kit.
However, my students have run into an irritating phenomenon that happens with no regular pattern. The phenomenon we see is that the single line of output from their program keeps repeating over and over - filling the screen,....
We've checked -- this is not an infinite loop in their program. The "fixes" which work are in order...
(1) switch to a different USB port - (not always possible with newer laptops).
(2) Close and restart Creator.
(3) Turn off and then turn the computer back on.
(4) Run your program on a different PSoC eval board.
This issue seems to occur only with PuTTy which was chosen primarily because it's "no cost".
So -- I'm asking for any recommendations and/or experiences you've had with terminal emulators.
Thanks

Hello,
I would like to use the CY8CKIT-149PSOC prototyping kit to test my slider design. The idea is to separate the original slider part from the kit. Then I solde 2,54mm pin header connector female on processor part of the kit, and a 2,54mm male connector on my slider board. Then I can connect them, provided that the pinout of my slider board is compatible with the processor part of the kit.
The kit is designed with a snap-away form-factor, so the separation should be possible without damage.
Do you think it is possible?

Hi All,
I am developing software for the Trackpad.
For this i have referred following two examples.
CE195394_HID_Mouse - In this example 3 Bytes mouse data is sent over USB. Byte1-Button, Byte2- X data, Byte3- Y data
CE216892 USB-HID Trackpad - In this example algorithm is developed to use trackpad and five bytes data is sent over I2C.
Byte1- Button Data, Byte2- X data, Byte3 - Y data, Byte4- 0 (Scroll), Byte5 - XY negative sign data.
What changes i will have to do in the following descriptor to send 5 Bytes of data over USB.
Report Count should be 4 Bytes where the arrow is shown. How do I add USAGE for XY negative sign data? What item should I select here.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Hi,
In my project I have 7 Opamps but due to the limits of using Opamps in PSoC 4 BLE (we can just use 4 of them), I am using Amuxs to select the inputs of those Opamps, but for the Opamps which are in operational mode I receive the following error:
"Failed to route net "Net_12". Error: No valid route exists Ports: vout
vminus
muxin_0
analog_term
muxin_1
analog_term
vout
vminus
Sources: PASS0.CTB0.OA1.vminus
USERIO DiffAmp_minus(0)
USERIO Pin_2(0)
Targets: PASS0.CTB0.OA1.vminus"
The error is just for the Opamp not in the buffer mode.
I attach the scheme of my project.
Show LessHello, I am using the Cy8C4244PVI-442 PSOC 4 MCU and have configured it for 5V supply:
I want to know what will be the output voltage level of the output pins.
I'm looking on page 21 of the datasheet:
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the output voltage for a logic high would be from 3V to 5V.
Am I correct?
Thank you
Show LessI'm trying to use proximity sensing in PSOC 4100S Plus to sense hands within a specified distance of 5 cm.
To make this, I made the sensor by the PCB routing that you recommended, and It's sensor size is 5 cm length & 2 mm width.
I tried every combinations of the filters (except ALP), and found that it's hard to achieve the specified distance.
Maybe the ALP filter is our solution, but it doesn't seem to be able to use now, or do you have any alternate solutions ?
Thanks,
Haotian

Hi,
the printf function does not send out the characters.
I added this function for redirect printf:
int __io_putchar(int ch)
{
UART_PutChar(ch);
return ch;
}
must I enable something ?
Best regards

Hi ,
This is Sai Krishna . We are looking to store the Bluetooth packets sent from CYALkit E2 E3 devices to raspberry pi-3 for further processing . So we are looking for code example to run on raspberry pi 3 so that it detects and stores the BLE messages from CYALkit E2 E3 devices. We are mainly interested in storing the RSSI value from the BLE packets. Please help us in this regard.
Thanks in advance.
