HI all,
I am new on Cypress MCU and using CY8C4125LQI-S433 for development currently.
I have checked on 4100s datasheet in port pin assignments page. There are columns that call "Deep Sleep1 " and "Deep Sleep2".
What is it mean? It only work on deep sleep mode?
The problem is that I can 't use P2.4 for SPI functions in PSoC Creator.
There are no options for P2.4 as shown below.
Is it possible to use P2.4 for SPI functions?
Please help. Thanks.
Best regards,
Tom

The PSoC 4100 S family differs a lot from the "normal" 4100 and would require a different layout. What is the main reason to change to the S-family?

The table shows an SPI configured as SPI slave which can be woken by a select line from deep sleep.
Can you please post your complete project or a shortened version that shows the error so that we all can have a look at all of your settings. To do so, use
Creator->File->Create Workspace Bundle (minimal)
and attach the resulting file.

Hi Bob,
Therefore, we can't assign those pins( stated on Deep sleep columns) as normal SPI function pins?
Actually, we are trying to migrate from CY8C4125LQI-483 to CY8C4125LQI-S433 in our project.
However, the pin assignments seem not 100% compatible.
We can't choose the exactly the same SPI pin number.
The attached is reduced design files which can build successfully using CY8C4125LQI-483.
But if you change the MCU to CY8C4125LQI-S433, you will see the errors.
The SPI pins are P4.0 to P4.3 which we do want to change as the PCB layout is completed.
Thanks.

I also don't know. It's not my call actually.
Anyway, thanks for your reply.
