I think this is still present:

psoc 4200 spi master clock speed >8 MHz problem

There won't be any updates to the component. The SPI oversampling factor needs to be written in the corresponding register SCB_CTRL. Please take a look at the component errata of the SCB 4.0 Component datasheet. (ID: 299029) pg 209

But this bug has been updated/ fixed for  PSoC 6 in ModusToolBox IDE platform (FYI).
