Question: How is renumeration procedure possible if firmware cannot be uploaded to the SX2?
Answer:
The SX2 requires no firmware because it is a USB 2.0 SIE-only chip. The firmware runs on the host processor to manage the data flow and configure the SX2 chip.
FX2 Note:
There isn't really a "renumeration" process like in FX2. If the host processor wants to load a new identity, it must write to the descriptor RAM area again.
