Question: Why doesn’t the NX2LP Flex kit, without a NAND Flash, enumerate as a mass storage device when the CY3686FW is downloaded onto its RAM?
Answer:
The code enumerates as a mass storage device only when a NAND Flash Chip is connected to the device. The firmware checks whether a NAND Flash device is present or not, and correspondingly, it enumerates as either a device of mass storage class, or a device bound to the CyUSB.sys driver.
