There are two FX3S-based reference designs available in the Kits section here. Because SD3 and SD2 are the variants of FX3S, you can refer to the reference designs of FX3S.

1. FX3S RAID-on-Chip USB Dongle - The kit uses CYUSB3035 and is used to demonstrate the RAID1 functionality of FX3S. This supports only a 4-bit SD interface on both ports.

2. FX3S DVK - The kit uses CYUSB3035 and is used to demonstrate the functionality of FX3S. The kit supports two 8-bit storage ports that can be SD3.0, SDIO3.0, or eMMC 4.41. The kit comes with an 8-bit SD connector. eMMC paddle boards compatible with SD sockets can be used to evaluate eMMC. This also has P-port connector to connect FPGAs or application processors.
