CO₂ sensor Forum Discussions
Hello,
Regarding the title, could you please tell me the meaning of "CO2 diffusion"?
Do you mean the environment around the sensor? Does this mean that the condition is that the CO2 concentration is evenly distributed around the sensor?

I am looking at using the XENSIV™ PAS CO2 in a new design for a battery powered IoT sensor. To get the life needed, I am looking at using the scheme in the app note on low power consumption, and turn both 12V and 3V3 off between reads. The read interval will be every 15mins or similar.
If I understand it right, ABOC cannot be used in this mode of operation. Is there a suggested method for implementing the equivalent when doing this? I would have considered keeping a record of the lowest value read in the last 8 days, and then adjust to the calibration so that this would have been 400ppm CO2, but I cannot see a way to adjust the calibration in this way. There is a forced mode, but that seems to force it to take the current value of CO2 as 400ppm (or whatever is set in the registers).
Any help would be really appreciated. It looks a really neat little sensor.
Show LessHi,
I am interested in the indoor air quality board with the Infineon's XENSIV™ PAS CO2 sensor + DPS368 pressure sensor. Is that board available for purchase?
Thanks,

Show LessHi,
I have been reading the PAS CO2 sensor using an Arduino Uno and the sketch provided by the Infineon_Team in the documentation "XENSIV™ PAS CO2: Interfacing with Arduino UNO" fromJul 02, 2023 11:44 PM (sketch copied below). I now try to connect the PAS CO2 to an Arduino R4 wifi to allow bluetooth connectivity but unfortunately cannot get any data reads from the sensor. Does anyone have a sketch that works with the Arduino R4 wifi?
Thanks

Dear Sir,
I am using PASCO2 for our portable instrument product.
we have concerns of the calibration mechanism.
may I the know the trigger condition of ABOC ?
How does ABOC work? does it take 1week to correct the baseline? for portable instruments, if we don't switch on the power, how does it get the correction baseline?
when we purchase the PASCO2 should we do the calibration by ourselves? thanks.
Show LessHello,
Regarding PAS CO2 sensor spec, please let me know the difference between "Storage temperature" and "Storage time during transport".
Which specification will be applied after incorporating into the product?

Hi~ Muhammad Nanda
I made new Community thread as you suggested.
I think it is better idea. I agreed completely.
Solved: PAS CO2 sample code with CYW20719? - Infineon Developer Community
Above sample code, I tried to make button handler in it.
But it doesn't work properly. Because It seems that former thread has own priority. So that other event handler seems to be ignored.
Do you have any idea to solve that issue?
Many thanks

Hi everyone
The datasheet states that the lifetime of the PAS CO2 sensor is 10 years. Is it necessary to have a measurement operation condition of once per minute in order to achieve this time (10 years)?
If it is necessary, would extending the lifetime to more than 10 years be possible by changing the measurement frequency to once every two minutes?
Thanks
