This question is a followup to the one in FCC Certification Questions .
Is there an API function to configure for continuous transmission mode while channel hopping for FCC testing? The linked thread above discusses an API call to perform continuous transmission on a specified channel, but is there an equivalent to perform continuous transmit while hopping channels (as in normal operation)?
For the reasons mentioned in the linked thread, we can't use the MBT tool (no access to HCI port and won't be onsite at test agency).
Thanks.

I've communicated this back to our compliance testing house. As I suspected after reading your reply (santol), I misinterpreted one of their requests. On followup, they clarified that there IS NOT a requirement to transmit continuously while frequency hopping for FCC testing of BLE products.
Thanks for helping me sort this out.

Engineering states we didn't have to test with hopping enabled on continuous TX for FCC certifications. There is no provision to support the feature either.
You could pair to another device but place high attenuation on the non-DUT to minimize its emissions during the test.

If this is the case, then it is possible/likely that I've misunderstood the testing company's requirements document. I'll go back to them for further clarification on this issue and post and update to this thread once I have more information from them.
Thank you for your response.
