Hi,
Does the customer come with an EZ-SERIAL FW to purchase CYBT-333032-02?
The customer mounts CYBT-333032-02 on the mounting board,
connects a coaxial cable to pin 26 (ANT), and confirms the output of 2.4 GHz with a Spectrum Analyzer,
but the output level is quite low at -30 dBm.
I would be grateful if you could give me some advice.
-----------------------------------------------
[Command used]
-----------------------------------------------
・ Mbt radio_tx_test (BDaddr) 2441 1 4 1 15 65535 0
-----------------------------------------------
[BT module connection status]
-----------------------------------------------
・ The power supply, reset, and recovery terminals are processed in the same way according to
the circuit diagram of "CYBT-343026-EVAL Board". Send MBT tool via HCI UART.
Thanks,
Yang

Hello YoJa_3107936 ,
I am sorry, we couldn't understand your query properly. Can you please clarify the exact customer requirement?
Yes, CYBT-333032-02 comes with Ez-Serial FW.
Do you want to set/ modify Tx power for the module ?
Please confirm whether customer wants to use Ez-Serial FW or custom application (with help of SDK) or in HCI controller only mode.
Please clarify the query.
Regards,
Anjana

Hi Anjana,
Thanks for your cooperation.
> Do you want to set / modify Tx power for the module?
According to your "Manufacturing Bluetooth Test Tool" document, the "mbt radio_tx_test" command has the following interpretation.
"This test is the connectionless transmit test that sends Bluetooth packets. The test configures the CYW2070X to transmit the selected data pattern which is governed by a specified frequency and a specified logical channel at a specified power level."
During the test, the customer can see a low power level (-30dBm) and want to know about it.
> Please confirm whether customer wants to use Ez-Serial FW or custom application (with help of SDK) or in HCI controller only mode.
If CYBT-333032-02 comes with Ez-Serial FW, they can check the normal power level by executing "mbt radio_tx_test". Please advise why they can't do it right now.
(Supplement: Using CYBT-343026-EVAL, the customer was able to confirm the 2.4GHz output Level without any problem by the above method.)
Also, is the connection with Antenna correct with 26pin (ANT) of CYBT-333032-02?
In CYBT-333032-02, the connector is not mounted on the circuit symbol: J1, but is there a possibility that 2.4GHz is output on the J1 side instead of 26pin (ANT)?
Thanks,
Yang
