Hello,
EZ-Serial Firmware provides commands for customizing Advertise Packets.
gap_set_adc_data (SAD, ID=4/19)
The default Advertise for CYSPP is Flag-[128bit Service UUID]-[Manufacture]-[Local Name].
Can I customize this [Service UUID] using the SAD command?
*Since the UUID of Advertise and the actual Service UUID are different, I think it is NG as BT Spec.
Best regards,
Takahashi@TED

Yes, you can use the SAD to customize your own service UUID.

Even if the Service UUID (original service UUID) of Advertise and the CYSPP service UUID (65333333-A115-11E2-9E9A-0800200CA100) of EZ-Serial are different, does it violate the Bluetooth specifications?
Best regards,
Takahashi

You can set the advertisement packet as you want even if you don't have the service.
The SPEC doesn't have rule for it.
