can CCG3PA detect the 5A feature of an EMCA cable so I can offer 20V/5A capability as power source?

Hi,

YES, CCG3PA can detect e-marked cable.

Ensure that the "cable discovery enable" parameter in the EZ-PD configuration is set to YES. CCG3PA will check for cable identity and will then advertise the 20V/5A PDO.
