Hi nini_4786376 ,
Can you please let us know if you are using BLE or BT classic ?
Are you trying to discover the device name in any peer apps of ios ? Can you try with CySmart app in ios if you are using BLE and any BT classic peer app if using BE/EDR?
Thanks for your reply.
I am now using BLE.
I tried with CySmart just now, and I can see the Pi's Bluetooth with the name "BCM43455 3".
It shows the same name with nRF Connect, another BLE finder app,
this is not the name I set in Raspberry Pi, do you know the reason?
The name of Pi's Bluetooth shows as I set it with Android.
However, I still cannot see Pi's Bluetooth in settings->Bluetooth of iOS unless I connect to it with CySmart or nRF.
So, is this the problem of iOS?
You results showed that iOS may put restrictions on displaying the device, since CySmart (iOS version) can display your device on your mobile phone.
I suggest you refer to iOS Bluetooth filtering policies to see if it helps.
Thanks a lot.
