Hi Team,
I am trying to bring up the cyw43455 sdio based wifi interface in the kernel - 4.9. I am using the brcmfmac drivers present in the kernel-4.9. If I do modprobe the brcmfmac.ko module is getting loaded. But the WIFI is not up and I didn't get any prints from the driver. Could you please help me to solve this issue.
1) Can I add WIFI support using the existing brcmfmac driver in the kernel-4.9 or Do I have to use brcmfmac driver from Cypress Wi-Fi/Bluetooth for Linux
2) Is there any driver support available for kernel - 4.9 ?
Regards,
Ajith.

1. Kindly use brcmfmac driver from Cypress. The latest driver is available here https://community.cypress.com/docs/DOC-20044. Follow the enclosed README document to bring up the Wi-Fi interface.
2. Yes, you can run backports to older kernel version.
