BCMDHD driver and BRCMFMAC driver for CYW4343W have different control signals??

    BoNa_4733501

Our design uses the Murata LBEE5KL1DX with Linux 4.9 LTS.

We are trying to upgrade our driver from BCMDHD to BRCMFMAC, but have been unsuccessful so far.

When comparing the device trees in the DTS files for BCMDHD and BRCMFMAC, we have seen the WL_REG_ON and WL_HOST_WAKE control signals in both drivers.

However we don not understand what these control signals are used for?

      - WLAN_PWREN_PD in BCMDHD

      - (GPIO used for) SDIO CARD DETECT in BRCMFMAC

      - (GPIO used for) SDIO WRITE PROTECT in BRCMFMAC

Why are there different control signals in the BRCMFMAC driver?

Do the CARD DETECT and WRITE PROTECT pins have another function for controlling the Murata 1DX chip?

      Please advise.

      Thanks.
