    VDD_MIPI current consumption of CX-3

      I am designing PCB using CYUSB3065-BZXC.

      How much the maximum current consumption for VDD_MIPI of CX-3, if CX-3 is working MIPI 4 lane, 1Gbps/lane?

       

      The datasheet doesn't say the working current consumption, but  suspended current.

      Is there any information?

          Please refer to Q3. of this KBA CX3 Hardware: Frequently Asked Questions - KBA91295

           

          Question: How much current does CX3 draw from the USB VBUS supply?

          Answer: The total current CX3 draws from the 5-V source in normal mode is approximately 112.6 mA. This is the worst-case scenario (1080p at 30fps, 24-bit data bus, 6 V at VBUS, 3.6 V for I/O supply, 1.25 V for Core / USB 3.0 supply).

          Note: These values are based on the following criteria summarized in the table below.           If you use only the USB 2.0 port of CX3, then the current drawn is approximately 98.6 mA. When the device is in the standby mode, it draws approximately 68 uA; in the suspend mode, it draws approximately 3.2 mA.

            I'm not sure which "Parameter" has the current consumption of VDD_MIPI (VDD_MIPI is the ball name of CX-3).

            I would like to know the correspondences between "Parameter" in the table and physical ball name of CX-3.

             

            Are those correspondences between "Parameter" and ball names of CX-3 correct?

             

            Core : VDD_MIPI, VDD and AVDD,

            VBUS : VUSB

            U3Tx : U3TXVDDQ

            U3Rx : U3RXVDDQ

            I/O Supply :  VDDIO1, VDDIO2, VDDIO3 and CVDDQ

              Hello,

               

              Yes, your understanding is correct. The parameter core in the KBA includes VDD_MIPI, VDD and AVDD  domains

              and the rest

              VBUS : VUSB

              U3Tx : U3TXVDDQ

              U3Rx : U3RXVDDQ

              I/O Supply :  VDDIO1, VDDIO2, VDDIO3 and CVDDQ
