Hi,

I wonder if this can be an acceptable workaround...

Hi,

The reason why you are getting error is the SPI you are using is implemented by SCB block and the architecture of PSoC.

The SCB block's output can be assigned to only certain pins through HSIOM block inside the PSoC Creator. So you cannot route the SCB block's output  internally to other UDB based blocks.

Is it possible for you to use a separate pin on the 'di' input of the CRC blck and connect it externally? like the image attached?

What is the MPN of the IC you are using?

Thanks

Ganesh
