Is it possible to read and save FW into image/bin from USB Type-C Port Controller via EZ-PD?

Hello,

I have USB-C Type controller (PN: CYPD4125-40LQXIT), but with incompatible/wrong FW in memory. So is it possible to read FW from workable IC and then flash to another/new IC?

Hi ,

It is impossible to read a firmware from IC via EZ-PD configuration Utility. If you want to copy the configuration of the IC, you shall have firmware file at first.
