The 3.3.1 SDK readme mentions the following restrictions:
* Platform Restrictions:
BCM943341WCD1
- Wi-Fi Direct not support
- SPI bus not supported
Are there plans to add support for Wi-Fi Direct and SPI in a future release?

Any updates on this ?
If not, which dev kit should I purchase that supports Wifi-Direct.
Use cases I want to demo :
- ability to configure the device with a name/serial number using an Android app
- ability to toggle GPIOs from the cloud
- ability to send peer to peer data between 2 devices.
