I tried to connect to a the WICED Sense tag using the bluez gattool on ubuntu 14.04 LTS and have consistently gotten a failure indicating that device is busy, even though there are no other connections. Attached is the hcidump output. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks!

You may want to reinstall Bluez with the latest version (5.33). It claimed to have some bugfixes on the GATT as well as LE.
