The board comes with a default project loaded into it. Was the TFT display showing the demo example details when you first powered up the board? Are you seeing a blank white screen instead? If you are seeing white screen, the board is atleast powering up and we need to flash another application that displays content on the TFT display.

I hope you are familiar with the demo project given here:

http://www.cypress.com/documentation/code-examples/ce222494-psoc-6-wiced-wifi-demo

I would still request you to flash the demo as mentioned in the link.

Ca you tell me the WICED version you are using?

I just tried the CE222494_PSoC6_WICED_WiFi-CY8CKIT_062 application with WICED 6.2 SDK and I could see the contents on TFT display.

Hello Riya,

Not using WICED software. default configurations ........ Following the Quick Start Guide Insert that shipped with the KIT. Remember the DEMO mode once worked. Just applied power. Now connect to W10 Home, Laptop by USB .....  Nothing, Blank White screen. What would you do next ?

Hello Riya,

I found a 120Vac power to USB adapter

Plug in to AC outlet.

Connect supplied USB Type ??? Cable to the KIT.

Still the display is White. Now ascii text or blinking cursor.

What would you do next?

Can you please program the board with WICED ?

I tried that. Does not work. The kit is not recognized on the W10 USB port. Also Teraterm 4.101 has serisl port grayed out.

So I know believe the KIT is defective.

After unboxing the KIT in June and simply applying power the TFT display did display the DEMO, etc.

The KIT has not worked June.

Have time now to continue. ...

What next ?

CE222494 – PSoC 6 WICED WiFi Demo

www.cypress.com Document No. 002-22494 Rev.** 1

Objective

This example demonstrates how to use a PSoC 6 MCU device to connect to a WiFi network and serve a webpage. The webpage displays the voltage of a light sensor, date and time, and controls the brightness of an LED.

FAILS at this step:

9. Double-click the newly created make target to build the code, program the kit, and run the example. Note that this may take a few minutes.

Hello,

Has anyone in the Community experienced this issue and can provide a solution.

It is odd that I highlight the Kit is not recognized on the USB port, so why I am being advised to uninstall, reinstall the WICED (WICKED) Development Environment ?

I theorize that advise will waste my time and others.

Any opinions ?

Thanks
