Hi all. I am wondering if a watchdog timer is also reset during a soft reset. I read another post stating that the timer is considered hardware, making me question this. I know variables are retained and the stack is cleared, but I really don't know much more than that. I'd appreciate it if someone could extend my knowledge on this topic.
Thanks in Advance

Hi Ayark,
A software reset will restore the core to a known state but not PSoC blocks, systems, peripherals, or registers. WDT being a hardware block will not be affected by the software reset.
Best Regards,
VRS
