Hi Sir, as you can see, the red arrow point to the antenna, right ?
Not sure why this component is removed, but still passed our bluetooth connection.
Also, what does the shield box do ?
Thanks.

Hello,
The shield will stop the leakage of the radiations and prevent any radiation from external sources which can affect the chip. The presence of shield will change the radiation pattern and tuning slightly. It is up to the customer to keep the shield or do away with it.

Hello,
Please can you tell me what you are meaning by saying "component is removed"?
The main function of the shield is to stop the leakage of the radiations and prevent any radiation affecting the chip. The module has passed precompliance testing without a shield. It is only for FCC modular requirement, a shield is provided.

Hi Sir,
component is removed, means the component which is pointed by the red arrow, being removed incautiously.
Thanks.

Hello,
The bluetooth functionality will work without the antenna for very short distances only because of some leakage current in the antenna pin. But to make the module work for longer ranges and appropriately, the antenna is required.
Can you send a snapshot of the module you have where the antenna is removed.

Ok, i just want to know it is a antenna.
By the way, regarding " The module has passed precompliance testing without a shield. It is only for FCC modular requirement, a shield is provided."
Not quite understand, without the shield, the function of the BLE, will not be impacted ?
Or the shield box is just to reduce the radiation to human being ?
Thanks.
