Hellow,

The following SWD interface is used to use the debugging function of CY8C4024LQI-S411.

SWDCK (P3_3 pin)

SWDIO (P3_2 pin)

XRES

Q1.

Could you provide me with the recommended pin processing information for these debug pins?

*

For example, the following information:

1)The pull-up resistors of SWDIO and SWDCK must be in the range of 1 k to 100 k ohms

2)XRES does not require pull-up processing

Best regards,

Harukawa

Hello Harukawa san,

The SWD pins can be used for other functionalities when the devices are not being programming. However if you need to use SWD pins for run-time debugging, select SWD (serial wire debug), instead of GPIO, from the Debug Select pull-down list in the System tab of the DWR window. In this case, the pins cannot be used for other functionality any longer. There is no special pin processing information for these debug pins.

Best Regards,
VRS

Hellow VRS-san,

Thank you for your reply.

There is no special pin processing information for these debug pins.

No external pull-up processing is required on the SWD pin.

Is this understanding correct?

Best regards,

Harukawa
