Does the CCG3 (CYPD3125) have overvoltage protection on VBUS_P since it controls the gate of the external Power Provider FET? Datasheet shows OVP support for VBUS_C, but not clear on VBUS_P.

Hi Jonathan,

CCG3 have OVP on VBUS. The VBUS_C pin have internal OV/UV (Over-Voltage/Under-Voltage) block monitors VBUS's voltage. VBUS_P is not  includes internal OV/UV (Over-Voltage/Under-Voltage) block, the power source of VBUS_P will be powered to Charger pump of CCG3 to let VBUS_P_CTRL drive external N/P MOS FET.

Best Regards,

Lisa
