Hello,

We are currently working with the PSoC 5LP. For our production we would like to have it pre-programmed by a third-party company before PCB assembly.

Is there any chance of flash data loss during reflow soldering of the ICs? I looked through the datasheets, but couldn’t find any information on this. Do you have any kind of documentation for this case, so we can take necessary precautions?

Best regards,

The solder reflow peak temps listed in the datasheet is listed as 260C for 30secs.

If this spec is followed, there will no impact on the flash or the molding compound.

Hello,

For third party programmer please check this link:

Can you please mention the exact MPN of part which requires to undergo reflow soldering

Thanks for the link.

It's a CY8C5468AXI-LP042.
