The customer may have to contact a Third part RF Certification agency for the same.
We have the 3D model files available for the module here: 3D MODEL FILES FOR EZ-BLE/EZ-BT MODULES - KBA218122
Does Cypress pass it instead of the customer in customer expense ?
Usually, our module suppliers can pass it instead of the customer in customer expense.
And also, regarding to AU, local office in AU/NZ is needed in order to pass RCM so
passing RCM by module itself is ideal.
That's why I'm asking.
As previously noted, the customer will need to contact a Third part RF Certification agency for this certification.
For double check,
Q1: Cypress does not have a plan to pass it by module itself instead of the customer ?
Q2: If so, Cypress will provide not only 3D model file but also all documents that RF certification company needs with Cypress technical support?
According to RF certification company(UL),
they often request module suppliers to provide following documents.
-Module layout file(Gerber)
-Module BOM file
-Antenna specification, such as pattern and gain.
-User Manual of DUT(module)
We got the rushing from our customer.
Could you follow as soon as possible?
For just in case, I summarize our situation.
Q1: Does Cypress never plan to get regulation by the customer expense ?
Q2: If no, does Cypress allow to provide all of documents that 3rd party regulation company request, such as schematic , layout file and BOM file ?(Please see previous note to know the detail about which kinds of document 3rd party requests)
Sorry for rushing you.
