Hello
in this document http://www.cypress.com/documentation/application-notes/an96841-getting-started-ez-ble-creator-module...
the range for the CYBLE-214009-00 module is stated as 30 meters, while on this page http://www.cypress.com/products/ez-ble-and-ez-bt-bluetooth-modules is stated 50 meters. which one is more close to reality? of course in a line of sight range.
regards
Fausto

Hello,
You should get a range of up to 50 m in Outdoor . In Indoor this should be lesser around 30 m (Depends on your environment).

The first link doesn't list a range, but BLE is standard for 30 m operating range for the most part.
And the second link lists 400 m for the range from what I can see.

In the second link you have to expand PSoC Creator based EZ-Modules to see the comparison table, there it says 50m for the cyble-214009-00.
The 400 meters are for other modules with Power Amplifier.
In the first link I should have pointed to the AN96841 file; there at chapter 3.4 it says 30 meters.
